Elizabeth Harbour

An illustrator, designer and printmaker.

Smiling woman hanging a colorful dried flower wreath on a white door.

Elizabeth has always loved to make and create things; from handprinted lavender cats, greetings cards, diorama cards, wooden decorations and mantle ornaments. For many years she has worked as an illustrator, in the last few years has found more of an audience for her work through making her own greetings cards, decorative ornaments and prints. At the beginning these were hand-painted or handprinted from her kitchen table.

She is inspired by her surroundings, old buildings, flora, fauna, literature, films, music and memories from childhood. These all help to create a sense of place in her work. She also loves to use different art processes to create her images; often the subject matter directs this. She lives with her husband who is also an artist and collaborator in part of a Georgian rectory surrounded by trees and birds.
