Florence Balducci is an artist, illustrator and art director known for her richly detailed ink drawings of animals and floral characters. Born in Lorraine, France, she now lives and works in Paris. Her work, often reminiscent of engraving, blends myth, nature and imagination, creating dreamlike scenes filled with minute detail. Inspired by an early fascination with the natural world, Florence draws influence from artists such as Grandville, Aubrey Beardsley, William Morris and Gustave Doré, as well as from time spent exploring museums, libraries and flea markets. She works across illustration, tableware, textiles and decorative objects.
