The bottle is empty. But its job isn’t over.

Beautiful things should last and have a life beyond ending up in the recycling bin. And what better place to start than with our match bottles? Here are a few ideas for giving your leftover bottles a new lease of life.

Lay the Table

Whether it’s holding a single stem for a summer tablescape or standing in for a candlestick, these bottles earn their place on even the smartest of tables. You can finally retire the old gin bottle you've been using to prop up candles since university; and give our match bottles a spin instead. Still attached to your trusty spirit bottle? No problem. The short stature of our bottles makes them excellent companions. They work beautifully in a mixed group on a table or shelf.

Spice Up the Larder

We all know the feeling. You open the cupboard; and out tumble open packets of cumin, chilli flakes, and general chaos.Well those days are over; our glass bottles, with their cork stoppers, make the perfect container for all your spices.. And they’re handsome enough to move from the back of the cupboard to pride of place on the shelf. Time to Relax To quote Sylvia Plath: “There must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them.”

Handy recipes for the body and mind...

Our match bottles are just the right size for homemade bath salts. Keep them to yourself for a moment of TLC, or give them away as homemade gifts.

A simple bath salts recipe:
• 2 cups Epsom salts
• 10 drops essential oil
• Optional: a handful of pink Himalayan salt and a sprinkle of dried botanicals

Who Said Salads Have to Be Boring? Turn your empty bottle into a salad dressing shaker. It’s the ideal size for a batch, and the cork makes storage easy.
