1.1 We reserve the right to change, modify, substitute, or remove any information on this website at any time without prior notice.
1.2 The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Matchboxes: Due to the nature of the making of matchsticks and the production schedules, tip and stick colours may vary slightly in colour or finish from those shown or described. Cards: Envelope colours may vary.

2.1 All goods are subject to availability. We will endeavour to inform you as soon as possible if any products in your order become unavailable.
2.2 Please note that letterpress printing is a beautiful craft form, using ink and paper in a way that was first established in 15th century (!). Small variations or imperfections are part of the finished impression.
2.3 Our matches are made from natural product and may contain inherent structural flaws. Whilst we take time to test the matches, we cannot reasonably test every single one, so strike the match gently (easy does it!) and away from you, over non-combustible surfaces.

3.1 All artwork, designs, graphics, logos, product images, packaging, and other creative materials (“Designs”) associated with our products and services are the intellectual property of Archivist (or artist, designer, illustrator or general licensors, where applicable).
3.2 These Designs are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved.
3.3 You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works of, or otherwise use our Designs in any way without our prior written consent.
3.4 Any purchase of our products does not grant or imply a license to use our Designs for commercial or non-commercial purposes beyond personal use of the purchased item.
3.5 Unauthorised use of our Designs may result in legal action and liability for damages.

4.1 We value your feedback to help improve our products and services, and to assist future customers in making informed decisions. Please email all feedback to info@archivistgallery.com.

5.1 Archivist Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage (direct, indirect, or consequential) resulting from failure to follow product safety instructions or from misuse of our products. As a reminder of our match safety please note the following:
Strike gently away from the body
Keep in a dry place away from heat
Keep away from children
No smoking
5.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

6.1 If goods supplied are damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery.
6.2 Retain all original transit packaging and damaged items until the issue is reported and a resolution is agreed upon.
6.3 Notifications of breakage, incorrect orders, or non-delivery must be made by email (info@archivistgallery.com) or phone (+44 1608 658601) and specify if you prefer replacements or a refund. Please provide images of any breakages in all emails.

7.1 While we strive to maintain sufficient stock of all items, we cannot guarantee availability at all times.
7.2 We reserve the right not to dispatch small back orders if it is uneconomical for us to do so. In such cases, we will inform you and offer alternative options.

8.1 We accept all major credit and debit cards for online payments.
8.2 We do not accept cheque payments.
8.3 All trade prices exclude VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to amend prices without prior notice.
8.4 The total cost of your order (including delivery charges) will be displayed during checkout and on your order confirmation.
8.5 For Our Trade Customers: Payment is taken after delivery of your order. Once your order has been dispatched we will send you an invoice to be paid within 30 days. We accept major credit and debit cards, and bank transfers.
8.6 Title to the goods is retained by the seller until it has received full payment for the goods.

9.1 Application Review: All trade account applications will be reviewed within five (5) business days of submitting the application form. Applicants will be notified of the outcome via the contact details provided.
9.2 Registered Sales Address: Customers shall ensure that the address provided to Archivist is the physical location from which the goods are sold.
9.3 Area Exclusivity: While we take care in reviewing all trade account applications and make every effort to consider the location of each applicant, we cannot guarantee area exclusivity. Any exclusivity offered is discretionary and subject to change at our sole discretion.
9.4 Change of Address: Customers must notify Archivist in writing of any change of business or trading address within 30 days of the change. This information must be sent to info@archivistgallery.com.
9.5 Prohibition on Third-Party Sales: Customers are strictly prohibited from selling the goods via any third-party retailers, online marketplaces, or sales platforms, unless prior written consent has been obtained from Archivist.
9.6 Account Inactivity: Once approved, if a trade account remains inactive for a continuous period of twelve (12) months, we reserve the right to close the account. Upon closure, any previously granted area exclusivity will no longer apply. We also reserve the right to offer an Archivist Account in that area to any new applicant or party currently on our waiting list.

10.1 These Terms and Conditions and any contract formed under them are governed by English Law.
10.2 The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.
We take every care to accurately describe items. However, due to the nature of letterpress and matchstick making, slight variations in colour, size, or finish may occur.
